| So much better off from multiple ways. We used the child tax credit to buy a home. The increase in home values helped us sell this house for a big profit. Work from home has also been great for our family life. The one thing that is worse now is eating out/ take out- so expensive and not worth it. |

Maybe it’s the dementia since he completely forgot we were under lockdowns with food and toilet paper shortages nationwide.
I’m way better off. House value and 401k has skyrocketed. Locked the mortgage rate really low. Took advantage of the great resignation mid-2021 to mid-2023 to greatly increase our household income (like many people I know did). I changed jobs and my spouse did twice, all with nice increases. Also hybrid work is another bonus that seems to have stuck! |
