42 looking for new brand of clothing

I’m so glad someone brought up Vince. Has the quality deteriorated lately?
I was looking at these pants

$365 for 62% polyester pants. That doesn’t seem right to me. I used to love the cashmere sweaters from there and bought one this winter and it was much thinner.

How is the quality? I haven't bought anything there for years but I like the look of their current styles.

Funny, I've gone back to J Crew after years of avoiding it. The quality seems to have gone up and the styles are back to more classic styles.

Vineyard Vines has had some surprisingly nice, non-branded things over the last year. Clearly some new designers.

I'm a big fan of JMac, and usually wait for the sales. They have some things that are good for work, but most of it is more casual.

How about Zara? They have some more trendy clothes to mix things up a bit.

The quality isn’t there with Nili Lotan. I bought a pair of their pants and absolutely loved them but they fell apart. I repurchased the same pant from the RealReal and it also fell apart. The design and the fabrics are fantastic, but I would never buy new again given how quickly they had to be discarded.

Yes, I think the quality has gone downhill. I stopped shopping there years back when they stopped using natural fibers. I have repurchased some of my favorite old sweaters from Poshmark and the RealReal.

I like the styles but it doesn’t look petite friendly and I’m 5’2”

I’m an earlier PP who mentioned them. I love the quality and feel of their clothing. I have mostly shirts and dresses, but a pair of pants I got from them is pretty long on me, and I’m 5’4”. Hopefully they’ll expand to that sizing, because the quality and style of their clothing is really nice. I even got my DH addicted to their button down sweater shirts!

^^ immediate PP

I meant to say “expand to petite sizing,” when mentioning the pant lengths.

I mostly buy Madewell, Everlane and Banana, with Anthro for a few unique (for me) pieces.
