And ofc the greatest Sorority Meltdown was at UMD about 10 years ago: https://www.thecut.com/2013/04/greatest-sorority-freak-out-e-mail-ever.html

Michael Shannon reading the letter on youtube is one of the greatest things you'll ever witness.

I am very happy this does not affect the NPHC

If an event is found to have had underage drunkenness or overage medically serious drunkenness, expel everyone in attendance who didn't report to administration. Send them back home to rehab or local community college, and admit more decently behaving students.

I agree. Anyone who witnesses hazing and does not report it is just as bad. Also, if students stopped agreeing to be hazed there would be no pledges and then there would be changes.

Sorry you didn't get a bid, geed.

It looked like a response to the UVA falling and hitting head drunk incident, which means all of 14th St should be shut down, too.

The majority of students are not involved in Greek life at all and have friends and a social life. You might even be surprised to learn that not all students choose drinking and drugs as their primary pastime.

I thought UMD was full of idiots. This confirms it

Admissions stats would say otherwise. How about let’s not judge an entire school based on a few frats?

I think you are taking PP too seriously and reading too literally. Aside: stats have nothing to do with common sense. You can have a 1600 SAT and be an idiot in the colloquial sense.

Another exhibit for the toxic culture we could all do without.

So, you never went to college or have any idea about fraternities?

On this basis (at least just your minimum standard of any underage drunkenness)…85% of all college students in the entire country will be expelled.

I find it laughable that a university allows fraternities/sororities, but is then somehow surprised (BTW they aren’t) that many have pledging rituals involving inordinate amounts of drinking.

Yes.

Also, not all colleges/universities have fraternities/sororities. Colleges organized around “houses” (aka: residential colleges) typically do not have any, and yet their students still have social lives and friends.

She only typed it because if she said it to the whiny f woman-to-woman, there would be a video of her on the internet for all her future employers to see and no one would hire her. Or marry her. But everyone would want to well you know.

Has to be more serious than just drinking bc schools are happy to look the other way when it comes to alcohol. Which houses?
