Just reread The Great Gatsby after finishing The Fabulous Lives of Marjorie Merriweather Post by Allison Pataki because her second husband is supposed to have inspired the Gatsby character. The book about Marjorie is also set in NYC.

Agree with PPs about Rules of Civility and Nora Ephron's & Ruth Reichl's books. Add in Sloane Crosley too.
