Another supporter here. I did 2 summers of CTY umpteen years ago - after 7th grade and the next year - and they were wonderful. As a bright kid it was just wonderful to be somewhere where you were 'normal'. Especially during those middle school years, that really means something.

While I have no recollection of the class I took that first summer, and only vaguely remember the topic of the second summer, I have fond memories of that time. And I kept in touch with my roommate at camp that 2nd year - stayed in touch into college, and after reconnecting post-graduation I count her as one of my handful of closest friends.

Tell me more about CTY online for the pre-k and k crowd. Anyone tried it?
