Problems with Pottery Barn Delivery questions

Yes, West Elm has the same issues. We ordered an armchair from them - never again. First it took months, then the truck broke down and they didn’t deliver it, then it was broken when we got it, and then it took months to get the replacement. The replacement was “lost” for a week in the logistics company warehouse. The only reason I got it delivered was because I called the logistics company directly and got the person I was on the phone with to locate the chair. It’s such a terrible experience and I can’t believe they don’t get called out for it more. You should check on their account on Twitter - look at tweets and replies. Tons of complaints.

Yes, West Elm has issues, but the customer service agents are helpful

3 months in. I’m still waiting. I’m beyond angry at this point. I just passionately hate the company. They’re truly horrible people with no morals.

What are you waiting for? I have just ordered a bunch of stuff from them and everything arrived on schedule. They were also very responsive when I needed to reschedule a delivery.

I ordered a rug online which was delivered. I realized it was going to be too big so I took it to the store to return. It was 10x14 or whatever so it was a bit of a chore to carry it into the mall. I didn’t open it and it was still wrapped in plastic. I returned it and left. The next day it was delivered to me again! They left the label on it and it came right back. I had to schlep the thing back again. I was so annoyed. Aside from the manager, no one working there seemed to know what they were doing. They acted clueless and confused.

Ordered nursery furniture from PB. Three months after the original projected delivery date it was still pending; the estimated delivery date kept being pushed back. I finally called customer service and asked for a firm date given the impending arrival of the user for said nursery. They said they had no information, but the next day it was magically at the warehouse and ready for delivery.

Pottery Barn and its affiliated brands have quite a reputation for non-delivery on DCUM.
