I feel like Daisy handled herself so well. |
She finally became interesting (though I'm also pretty sure much of it was scripted). |
The new bachelorette girl Jenn is a random pick. I didn't even remember her from the show. And clearly the producers know it because with their whole 'learn more about Jenn' thing she agreed there was 'a lot more to her'... then proceeded to continue to not be interesting. When asked what she was looking for, she missed an opportunity to tell guys with Asian fetishes not to apply. that would be my big concern in her position. The 'shot o'clock' thing was also cringy.
Would have preferred Rachel. |
Why are people picking on Daisy's voice? That's part of her hearing problem. She was still getting used to her cochlear implant.
Cannot get on board with shot o'clock. If you need alcohol to be the bachelorette, maybe you shouldn't be one. It's not fun for viewers to watch people drink. So immature. |
Casting already took place before she was named. |
Yep. I saw that too. Couldn’t believe that made it on air! |
I still NEVER believed that Joey was wanting to get married. He spent all of his interviews obsessing over being rejected. He wasn't gushing over the final 2 like a guy in love. He was stressing about having to make a really hard decision and hurting someone. I think he made his decision when Kelsey gushed over HIM and laid out how much she really really wants to be with him. It has to be really reassuring to him that she was clearly saying "I won't reject you!"
When speaking of Daisy and Kelsey,Joey would describe their personalities (she's so energetic, she has a bright light about her, she's fun, etc). I didn't hear him describing it like a guy in love ("I'm just crazy about her; I can't stop thinking about her; she's the first thing I think of in the morning; etc). I didn't hear a lot of HIS strong feelings for either. I think Joey was more concerned about getting through his job of picking someone (for the show value) who would not reject and embarras him. I don't think Joey has thought much about his own life plans or what it would be like to be in a committed relationship. He's a nice enough guy...just a guy looking to be well-received. Not a guy who is full grown and ready to be married. |

I really hope Maria is in paradise! |
Rumor is that there is no BIP this summer. Which I get. Last season was boring AF |
We kept rewinding it. No way they could’ve missed that glaring nipple in the editing process. Had to have been something else. |
Wow again! Daisy really DID fix her voice for the finale! She sounds like a normal person. Must not have been the cochlear implant that made her voice so grating before. |
' But it's not. Vocal fry isn't a result of hearing loss. She sounded that way before her implant. |
She had lots of media coaching and a complete makeover. She's setting herself up for something bigger than Bachelorette. |
Good for her! The ones who get "picked" as the winner, generally don't end up doing anything with their fame. The ones who don't get picked, but last a long time, have the freedom to use their 15 seconds to their advantage. I don't know what she'll do, but now that she fixed her voice, she could do many things. |
