I've seen people mention this nom de plume, and am curious. Do people develop identities that others can somehow pinpoint, despite the anonymity? |
She is a poster who likes to create scenarios and post about them to see what other posters will say. When someone calls her out, she usually fesses up that it is her. |
Why is she called chipoltle lady? |
This is why she is known as CL:

She made a name for herself with a thread about how someone gave her the "stinky eye" when her 2 year old was acting up on Chipotle. |
She also withholds details of these fake stories, letting more and more information out that contradicts previous information. |
CL is a woman who is struggling with life. She is irritable, defines herself by her disabilities and seems to be stuck in a depression. She seems lonely and probably has no friends, so she turns to DCUM for support, instead of seeing a therapist. |
Isn't that 75% of us? |
nom de plume? just ask the question without inserting something in a different language, done just to show how oh so smart and wordly you think you are. Oh, I have no idea who CL is. I've always wondered though. |
Wow, no, I don't think so. Of course I can only speak for myself. My life is far from perfect and I like to blow off a little steam on DCUM, but I've got plenty of real life friends and I'm not lonely, disabled, or depressed. |
Are you the one who started the word getting mad at everyone for using the word schadenfreude? |
No, not me. Just find it annoying when people insert words or phrases that she knows most people wont understand as they are in a different language....thus forcing us to google the word. kinda rude, but Im over it. maybe Im easily annoyed today because RHNY and RHNJ have ended their season and Im stuck watching RHMiami. I guess I could use my time looking up random foreign words instead of watching Bravo.... |
Good god, you had to google that?? |
These words may not be in English, but they are in the English lexicon and anyone who reads even moderately should know what they mean. You know what the words "kindergarten" and "delicatessen" mean, don't you? But you've already demonstrated how you prefer to spend your time. ![]() |
I think nom de plume is a common enough phrase that most people with even a high level education knows what it means. It's certainly not some obscure phrase! I learned about it in conjunction with Mark Twain aka Samuel Clemons. PP you are putting yourself as very uneducated!
Is XL the same as the last with the psoriasis on her feet so she has to park in disabled parking our something? |
