This Prep team has a ton of talent, but it is not coached well.

Wouldn’t say that. Maybe the IAC is way behind.

Gonzaga only lost by one goal against Culver. St. John’s beat Taft and was in a winnable game with St. Anthony’s.

Preps biggest win was against Ryken, Landons big win was against the Heights and Bullis big win was against St. James. No comparison.

What kind of garbage are you writing: wouldn’t say that, maybe they are, moral victory, 1 win vs 4 losses, and no wins of any significance. Both the WCAC and IAC are upside down vs competition north of VA.

1. Landon. Need to run the table
2. SJC. Will be insufferable if they win out
3. Bullis. Meh
4. GZ. 2 tough games and playoffs.
5. GP. Goaltending
6. GC. Upset alert
7. Throw a blanket over them

Still think Bullis is the favorite as the top team in the area.

Bulldogs 2025 class is getting more game experience each passing week.

The Landon - Bullis game next week should be a great one.

How does Prep blow a 2 goal lead in the final 2 minutes of regulation.

That is terrible

Doesn’t matter. Two teams that win the championship

I disagree that Prep’s problem is goal tending any longer. Their new starting goalie #23 (not the southern transfer) is getting better with each game and did quite well last night.

Prep’s problem last night (and in all their games this year) has been an inconsistent offense. They have a number of great players, but they run hot and cold. A player will have a great game and score a bunch, but then nothing in the next game. They also cleared terribly at the end of the game, couldn’t get a ground ball, dropped balls and made bad passes.

Coaching is definitely an issues. With the level of talent this team has they should be playing much better together at this point in the season.

Prep’s defense has been their strength this year, but that final goal in OT was a joke. The senior defender (who normally doesn’t start) just stood there with concrete legs and watched it happen right in front of him. The Gonzaga player was wide open in the middle for several seconds just waiting for the ball. Easy goal.

Prep should have won that game, but didn’t.

Having already knocked off GP, GZ is top team in DC metro region until someone beats them. They play Bullis, GC, Landon, and SJC. Everyone gets a shot. If Eagles run the table they're the champs.

But by the previous posters comment...since gonzaga lost to st marys 9-6 and landon beat st marys by a ton........Landon is the best in the area and should beat gz by 30...right?

Surprised it wasn’t more lopsided given STA beat them by a similar amount.

Bullis should have posted 20 on this team. They underestimated the Penn State commit goalie. Defense was not very good though.

Next up for Bullis Cardinal Gibbons (NC) that could be a trap game as they are looking ahead to big opening IAC game with Landon.

8+ goals a game with several cupcakes and a low save percentage. A short stick camping on the crease in ot. That’s goalie and communication. Let’s move on from GP contesting for tops this year.

Unlikely but true

St. John’s will beat them both.
