Feedback on VLC Club Lacrosse?

You are entitled to your own opinion but not entitled to your own facts. The VLC team you are saying better is not objectively supported by facts. That VLC lost to the True NOVA team in HOCO last spring.

What are you talking about? True Nova is the next powerhouse lacrosse club in Virginia! The great 2029 AA team is an example of how great it is! It is way better than the VLC 2029 B team last spring!

Non-True or VLC parent here. Can the VLC folks talk about the VLC teams 28-32. Interested in having my sons try out but curious about coaches, parents, culture, etc.

4! And new to the area. Heard good things but hard to tell from the thread. One boy can play in 2 age groups so thought I would ask about all 5

"new to the area" is the tell of a troll, but on the off chance you are for real, you should talk to the club itself and to families on each of the teams you are considering. this thread is dominated by a few people with passionate feelings and it jumped the shark a hundred or so pages ago. if you want real information, talk to real people.

2027 - Played a few games, should be coach Dico, looks more like the 2025 team (which is like a 100-150 ranked team) than the better top 50 ranked 2023, 2024, and 2026 teams. This is still too early to tell.

2028 - The only year without a team

2029 - HC Derek Poon, was the B Team (Hoco AA) team from last year. Kept the core players and added a few, looks better than last year, potentially strong AA or weaker AAA hoco team

2030 - HC Matt Flynn, looks more or less like last year's team right now, Hoco AA level

2031 - HC Derek Poon, won the Hoco AAA regular season last year, team looks similar to last year

2032 - HC Steven Brooks - ex MLL/PLL player and a PLL team's Assistant Coach, Hoco A last year (entering 4th grade in 2024 should have more levels), probably an AA level team.
