It's a story about everyday people investing tons of $ into Trump's social media company. It's actually pretty sad, people who need something to believe in so badly they are willing to risk everything financially.

I am all-in for Biden for obvious reasons but the Democratic party really needs to find a way to connect with the lower middle class voter. They have abandoned a whole segment of our population.

The unfortunate thing is that it is the Democratic party's policies that are by and large, beneficial to the lower middle class. I'm not sure how they can connect to people who are so deeply down the rabbit hole.

If you own a company and have $25,000 to give to your cult leader, you are not lower middle class. And if your cult devotion is so strong that you give your leader $25,000, there are approximately 100 million other voters who are more persuadable than you.

They need to learn firsthand that they’re supporting a lifelong con man. They deserve everything coming (and going).

So you think that savvy investors should put money into a company with revenue of $4 million, $58 million in losses, and no path to profitability?

Sad that you can't objectively see that this is a money laundering business. There is no going concern here. It's a fraud. The numbers are clear.

They were warned a million times. Some people just have to learn for themselves.

Regretfully even when they lose money on him they won’t learn anything from the experience. They are so wrapped up in this as their personality and community that any such losses will be pinned on something or someone else. Biden, maybe. Inflation affecting the stock market. Nefarious dark forces. It doesn’t need to make sense, it just needs to soothe an ache of awareness.

+1

They will blame the coastal elites (ie the Jews and their space lasers) for their losses.

Oh that’s right. Because I don’t pal around with open antisemites I forget how much that drives their world, but they’ll say it online.

While still sending weapons to Israel, because their hatred of Muslims far surpasses their hatred of Jews.

Yeah, none of the people profiled in that article are lower middle class.

This and add bring back many of the tax incentives that helped people afford to get education and buy a home. The tax policies that eliminated rolling student loans into mortgages and being able to deduct interest payments (say under $1.5 million) need to Cooke back asap.
