Why is my old neighbor mowing his lawn almost every day. Do I have recourse to report him?

He is retired probably age 60+

There is probably a noise ordinance but I doubt that he is mowing lawn at 6 am or 10 ,p.m.. you and your kids probably drive him insane.

1. I truly doubt the neighbor is mowing his lawn almost every day.
2. If in fact, neighbor is doing this, he's probably pretty quick as the grass hasn't grown.
3. No, you can't report him for basic yard work noise as long as it's not very early or very late in the day (noise ordinance hours vary). Similarly, he can't report you/your kids for being loud while playing or having loud conference calls on your deck.

The police are not your personal protection agency and it's not their job to deal with your neighbor mowing his lawn. Get a grip, Karen and mind your own business. Maybe go meet the old guy and ask him about lawn care and his recommendations.

Nah, he’ll be dead. The cops will show up expecting him to be armed, they’ll see him, and shoot him before he can react. This is actually really good advice.

We’re going to do the same thing to the trumper next door who I know with certainty carries a gun daily. The cops will show up and shoot him. We’re just hiding our time til closer to the election.
