what do you think of this engagement ring setting?

My diamond is just under one carat. I'd like to get it reset for our 10 year anniversary (from a plain tiffany setting).
I love antique/art deco settings.

I love that site (got one of my wedding bands there) and think the setting is beautiful.

Ooh really really don't like it. Sorry, OP really not my style. But I'm not the one wearing it...

I don't see it. Why not just post the picture?

I like it but from my understanding of Fay Cullen, they have a very difficult return policy so choose carefully!

I think I'd like it without the blue stones...maybe if they were diamonds. Or even good CZ.

OP here--what don't you like about it? Can you elaborate?

Sorry, I guess an explanation would be more helpful I'm an antique jewelry person, but deco stuff just seems really harsh. I like the filigree(?) on the sides - that's curly and pretty, but then the completely angular square part around the diamond makes it seem very harsh and takes away from the diamond. Also, and usually I love sapphires, but they lok weird too. I sort of see what they were going for, but it's like too much going on. Also, and maybe it's just the picture, but it looks sort of fakey and cheap. I prefer something softer and more understated I think. Particularly with a one-carat that I think would get lost in this setting.

No, sorry OP I don't like it either but my opinion doesn't really matter! I am not a fan of the sapphires on the side (and I love sapphires!) Whoa and I just noticed the side view with the curly stuff-- that just too much for me. It's just a little over done for my taste. But why do you care about my taste? What do you like about it?

I think it's gorgeous.

I don't hate it, but it kinda looks like the female genitals to me when you look at it.

??? What part of it? Dang, I wished my lady bidnit looked like that, it would have saved my husband tens of thousands.

I had a hard time deciding whether I liked it. The square setting, I like. The filigree, I like. The blue stones, I'm just not sure about.

ITA. I also don't love the sapphires. But OP, if you love it, go for it!
