Nice write up BuckyLou! |
Oakton played Madison close into the 3rd quarter but just too much talent on the Warhawks. Expect a similar outcome as Madison pulls out a 14-9 win down the stretch unless the Seahawks have something up their sleeve as they did keep both games close down to the wire last year. |
You are an idiot. He is not rude or inconsiderate and doesn’t say anything negative about coaches or players. And he knows quite a lot about lacrosse having played at Penn Stare and coached youth lacrosse for 12+ years. Apparently you don’t know anything about lacrosse. |
This is good stuff BuckyLou - The Washington Post should pay you for this content. Thank you! |
Laxnumbers.com VA 6A Rankings - top five looks similar
1 Yorktown 2 Robinson 3 James Madison 4 West Potomac 5 Langley 6 Cosby 7 Woodson 8 Battlefield 9 South Lakes 10 Oakton |
The top four looks like a preview of the state semis - Madison's tough out of conference schedule will help them come playoffs. |

You can’t have those 4 in state semis |
Why not? |
Because Region A,B,C & D will each have 1 team in Semis |

And that is the ONLY reason Battlefield has so many runner-up trophies year-over-year. |
Maybe in the past, yes. Last year? Think again. We could’ve taken anyone and lost by 1 to the best team in the state for 6A. Nice try though. |
I think what you mean to say is that between C and D they can only have 2 teams in the semis. there is not a guarantee that A,B,C,D will all have a team in the semis. Not the way it works |
Correct. You could have two Bs and two Cs in the semis, but not two Cs and two Ds. |
