JV scores. Wow... Not a great comparison anyway when Arlington County can pull up 8th graders.

Madison @ Potomac School - 4:15 today

Beautiful afternoon for lax. Will be a tough one for the Warhawks. Impressed that they continue to test themselves; good for playoff prep. That said, Potomac has too many weapons and this one won't be close.

Huge game Next Thursday - West Po v. Woodson.

It will stop... I can promise you. Then, administration from both schoos will get involved. JT does not want this- if she were smart, she will put a stop to the obnoxious behavior from the announcer.

It's actually a Region policy that the announcer not interject themselves into the contest. ... I will send it to the YT Athletic director and Principal and JT

I’ll meet you there! I know him from travel, and he’s a large former D1 Lax defender. This will be quite the altercation!

You might want to remember how successful you were when trying to bring the big steal to the attention of Congress in 2000.

No dog in the fight here.... but announcers are not allowed to interject themselves in a contest. It is an actual rule.

I find it hilarious that no one understands that what goes out over the Yorktown Boosters feed is not the same as what he says over the loudspeaker to the crowd in the stands Watch 5 mins of it. You'll figure it out.

Get over yourself. Obviously, what he calls on the video stream and what he calls in the stadium are different. He doesn't inject himself into the game. He calls players names for both teams when they take the draw, score, etc. He goes out of his way to learn the pronunciation of kids names, unlike MANY other announcers I've heard. He does his best to call what he sees, when he sees it. Somtimes he gets it wrong. It's ok. It may have looked like the ref was reaching in his pocket for a card and he announced too soon. He is never saying, "Hey Ref, that should have been a yellow card. What's wrong with you?" Unlike many of you people in the stands. And the AD and/or Assistant AD is at the games and hears what is being said. So give the guy a break. And I promise you, if you go in the press box you will get bounced.

Better watch out, the Yorktown enforcer just got out of his Tesla and has to adjust his popped collar before taking control of the press box.

We love our announcer! He’s the best ever any one with an issue can just not watch the stream. Or report it to some one they aren’t gonna do squat 😭😭😭

YT AD will love this - any excuse to punish girls teams!

Who are you? The YouTube broadcast is totally for Yorktown families and parents. Show up and watch your kids' games instead of sitting at home on your couch. As the public address announcer at the stadium, all he does is provide details on penalties, out of bounds plays and gives credit for goals.

The commentary on the YouTube broadcast is different than what is heard at the venerable confines of Greenbrier Stadium.

The announcer is a 6'3 inch, 225 lbish teddy bear with lots of fans. Advice is to grow a backbone, get a life, and put the sound on mute when you watch your team play Yorktown. There is zero ill will in the commentary and aspersions are never cast on players or coaches.

It is frankly appalling that you would make such a threat but that is what happens when keyboard warriors can hide behind an anonymous messaging handle.

Best of luck to you the rest of the season!
