How often do Moms and Dads have sex?

So, any suggestions for increasing the sex drive . . . or getting in the mood after a day of snot, poo, etc. "Just do it" doesn't get it done for me.

1-3 times per month, my DD is 14 months old. We tend to find time on the weekends while she is napping... the problem is, all I can think about is all the things I could be getting done. We both work full time and are too tired during the week. I keep thinking that if we did it more, I'd want to more.

I'm not trying to revive the swinging thread, but go to a swinger's club -- www.entrenousqueen.com.
That, along with a sexy outfit and some booze, you won't be able to keep your hands off each other. Works like a charm.

7-9 times a week, which is too much. Have a 2 year old.

I read this thread from time to time. brings out my competitive side -- "we can do it more often than THAT, at least" -- does the trick!

Every three weeks or so, and that's perfect for both of us. We're both 32 and I am 4 months pregnant with our first. If it slows down after the baby's born, we'll be okay with that. We are very close and loving (and physically affectionate), and while we love having sex with each other, we just tend to need/seek it every 3 weeks or so. I feel VERY lucky that we are pretty much always on the same page about when/how much.

If you don't have sex with your spouse, they will get it from someone else.

Find a frequency you can both live with, and lose the excuses. For women, there doesn't have to be much effort involved at all. How hard is it to lay there and spread your legs?

One of my dearest friends used to complain about her husband hitting on her every night. Now that he hasn't so much as attempted to touch her in well over a year, she cries about how rejected and unattractive she feels. I mean, come on, give me a break, girlfriends. Quit whining and do your thing.

Doing it will make you feel better than wondering if your husband's upset enough over lack of sex to look elsewhere.

Was there a medical reason for no sex during pregnancy? We didnt have sex the first 6 weeks after the baby was born - and didnt have much in the last few weeks of pregnancy, but otherwise, the dr said all was normal and we could go ahead and do what we wanted.

No wonder men cheat. You gals do know that sex is a basic need, like water, food, and sleep? What's the deal? You pop out a baby and you don't need your man anymore?
