Why is Biden not addressing Israel or the university protests?

People have had enough.

Biden is by no means perfect, but at least he is trying.

Malarkey!

OK, perhaps the protesters could say that Brittney Griner and 50 of her are the hostages, that would be a way to get Biden to act on freeing them.

This never would have happened without the Biden Administration pushing.

Hamas has killed thousands of people to prevent his from happening.

Er, Saudi Arabia was going to do that last September. Then they said they were still interested in late October but they weren't sure when exactly.

I guess they've given up waiting for Israel to calm down and are going to go ahead anyway, despite the current events. Seems reasonable, tbh. Waiting for peace in the Middle East will mean waiting forever.

So you're not going to blare sirens at the Saudi embassy and demand they divest from Israel?

While this is about PR, it’s worth remembering that all of the Arab monarchies are famously good with being on the down-low with the Israelis and have never been interested in either the Palestinians or in any of Muslim Brotherhood’s circle (which includes Hamas and PIJ).

This is not about a vote of confidence for Israel or any such nonsense. Saudis want a more sophisticated type of weaponry than they are currently allowed to buy from the US. The price is being allowed to buy bigger toys is to say sorry to the playground bully.

Another thing worth remembering that the decision to normalize relations with Israel by the Gulf dictatorships is, well, dictatorial. If they were democracies, the democratic vote in their countries would be to spit in the direction of Israel until their body fluids run dry. This decision is against a popular sentiment in every Arab country.

Why do you think it is desirable? The US now has to defend Saudi as if the Saudis were Israel and give them nuclear weapons. This is worst thing that can happen to the region. This does not solve the cause of the problem which is Israel and its criminal treatment of the Palestinians for 80 years.

Though this will end with the overthrow of Mohammed bin Salman and a radical anti American regime replacing him. All this for a made up state

Biden will continue to ignore the protests that have now definitely turned criminal.

His worthless spokesperson will issue some type of milquetoast statement saying "this administration has been very clear" about "supporting free speech" while calling out "hateful rhetoric."

If the choice comes down to "would Biden or Trump be better for the people of Gaza?" it seems insane to contemplate voting for Trump. We all know the failings of Biden's policies, but Trump would probably have the U.S. Air Force engaged in the bombings himself. The only shred of hope Palestinians would have under a second Trump administration is that his weird personal grudge against Netanyahu for calling Biden to congratulate him on winning the election overrides whatever other impulses and influences led to the policies Trump actually carried out in office the first time.

Trump is a wild card, he doesn’t like Netanyahu all that much. He pays lip service to get Jewish donations but he could turn on them in a heartbeat.

He could turn on anyone in a heartbeat, including the US. That's why people should vote against him.

Bless his heart.

A bonafied threat to humanity.
