Please recommend your OT or PT in DC please!

My 4 month old needs a pediatric physical therapist who is neurodevelopmentally trained to address mixed tone and visual maturations issues, as well as an occupational therapist for feeding (and later speech). This is all very new to me and I'm having a hard time trying to find providers on my insurance co's website. We have BCBS federal standard option and live in between Chinatown and Children's Hospital.

If you have a great PT or OT that you can recommend, please share the wealth. Thank you!!

We like the OTs at Skills on the Hill on Capitol Hill. They don't always explain things quite as clearly as we'd like but they work well with our kid. They don't take insurance but you can bill your own insurance for the sessions and get whatever reimbursement you'd get for an out of network provider.

There are some good therapists at Georgetown Hospital, probably also a wait list but wouldn't hurt to get on it.You might also want to look at a speech therapist for feeding issues. Above all, make sure your therapist(s) have experience with infants. Many have worked only with older kids and it makes a big difference.
