Folks if a woman becomes a first-time mom at 47, it’s because she has really really really wanted to be a mom for a long time, and there were years of fertility, surrogacy, and/or adoption stuff behind the scenes. Be kind.

Well it's extremely unlikely this was an accidental pregnancy at 47, so she probably actively did something to have a kid at this age and therefore wants a kid now.

zooey deschanel is another one who did this. she said for years she didn't want kids and then got pregnant. clearly, it was an oops.

not only that, but those kids are going to grow up and google their moms to find articles on how they didn't want kids. like, repeatedly stated they didn't want kids. and then had them... yikes. that will feel awesome to find out once their kids are grown.

What would you say if you were in their position? If you admit to wanting kids it pushes the pregnancy watch into overdrive and multiplies the tabloid stories about your "pregnancies". Seriously, how many times has Jennifer Aniston been reported as pregnant with twins and she has never given any indication that she wanted to procreate. It's really not hard to tell your child that you raised and love that you are so happy you changed your mind.

Anyway, terrible name, but I think Raddix will have plenty of life advantages that allow her to rise above it.

Gee maybe she said that to help avoid the press hounding her? Poor Jennifer Anniston said she wanted to have a kid when Friends ended and now she has endured 15 yrs of pregnancy speculation.

There are lots of pictures of her pregnant out there - from when she first started to show and the rumors were starting to her very obviously pregnant.

She looks great. I think she just changed her mind and decided that she wanted to be a mom after all. More power to her.

I think you're referring to pictures of her with a fake bump for movie shoots, because I just pulled up really recent pics and she is NOT visibly pregnant

So what? They'll say, "but then I changed my mind and I'm so glad I did!"

Something tells me that growing up extremely wealthy will help them to overlook those articles.

Then it sounds like they used a surrogate. Regardless of how the baby was born, she is a mom now and I think that's great.
