How soon is too soon to take a HPT after an FET?

Anonymous
i am 9 days past 5dt of fresh embryo... I took test and got negative and my nurse said that is crazy. They don't make you wait to be "super sure".. they make you wait 14 days because that is the most reliable time to get any sense of a pregnancy. She said that despite all the people posting online and the forums saying they get positives early, that you can easily not get a positive on a HPT until very close to your beta. She agrees by the day before, the HPT will be accurate.. maybe the day before that... but anything before two days earlier is highly likely to be unrealiable. I got a 70 on my first beta a few years ago on day 14... so if that is "double" what it was 48 hours earlier, then I would have had a 35 on day 12.... and probaly less than 25 on day 11....so an HPT might not have picked up anything before day 10 or 11 (probably more like 11).
So I'm not giving up.... Most good HPTs pick up 25ml...

Did anyone else experience cramping and mild clear discharge after their FET? I'm on Progesterone suppositories and wondering if that is the cause. Thank you! Hoping for BFP on Tuesday's BETA, but worried the cramping is a sign of AF coming.

Yes, the suppositories cause that... and yep, have cramping now, and I'm 4dpt5d..... and I have a son from an FET and had the same.

Nurse here...

Should definitely have a positive by 18 days post trigger shot (if fresh transfer). If blastocyst FET, should definitely have a positive 11 days after your transfer. You may get a positive a day or two before the dates above... But too far before this time would still give you a negative result.

I hope you ladies find this helpful.

When I've tested positive after IUI's it's been squinters all 10 days post (I've had 2 pregnancies ending in miscarriages and then at least 4 chemicals). However with my FET it didn't register until 7 days post 5 day transfer and even then it was very light.

Just got a super squinter of a positive 5dp5dt confirmed by a beta. It was an eSET

I took my first 5 days after 5 day transfer (fet). It was faint, but definitely there. If you're up for it, I say go for it.

I got the faintest of lines 7dp5dt. It didn't get noticeably darker until 9dp5dt.

I started POAS 12dpTrigger, that was 8dp4dt. The line became almost identical to the control line in the morning of beta.
