Cambridge Analytica is linked to Robert Mercer (who owns a multi million dollar stake in the company). Mercer is closely tied to Bannon/Breitbart and they brought Cambridge Analytica in to work on the Trump campaign with Kushner's approval.

To get an idea of what Cambridge Analytica was trying to do here is a quote from its CEO:
Alexander Nix, the C.E.O. of the firm, says that it has created “profiles”—consisting of several thousand data points—for two hundred and twenty million Americans. In promotional materials, S.C.L. has claimed to know how to use such data to wage both psychological and political warfare. “Persuading somebody to vote a certain way,” Nix has said publicly, “is really very similar to persuading 14- to 25-year-old boys in Indonesia to not join Al Qaeda.”

This statement is inaccurate. There was no audit performed of any of the states in which the exit polls did not match retell the actual results - shoddy recounts in some, but not recounts - and that's not to mention all the pre-Election Day Russian hacks of various state voting systems. If people were removed prior to Election Day and prevented from voting, that too is a rigged election.

These are some seriously scary people. Ten years ago I would have just said these are crazy people but they now have the money, tools and access to mess up our institutions.

Yes, Hillary should have used a China owned firm to who would have targeted china hacked voters list to study their interest and should have given it to Chinese to push ads to the the vulnerable voters with lies to vote against Donald. And if Hillary would have own and our ICs would have uncovered the Chinese meddling she should have claimed the IC is trying to take her down! I know how that would have gone with you!!!
