SPLC is involved in civil rights legislation and many legal defense cases involving civil rights. It probably makes some level of sense for them to protect their funds as I'm not convinced that the DOJ under Sessions is trustworthy. Please source those stories. And, FWIW, even the NYT has made mistakes--like blaming Palin for the Arizona shooting of Gabby Giffords. And some more recent mistakes. But, please list the DC fake stories. Maybe, you are referring to the one about the DWS staffer? That's certainly not fake and they are the only ones who were reporting on it for months and months. That is what you call investigative reporting.
