| Where did you grow up were it was illegal for an 18 yr old to date a 17 yr old. At least today, most states require an age gap greater than 2-4 yrs, and many have age of consents less than 18. |

More kids redshirt now, so a lot of the issues you mention would not be as big of a deal.
