Could baby talk be any more annoying?

If you love it, do it when other adults aren't around. It is extremely irritating to listen to.

Not everything I say to my baby is in a baby voice. Relax

It would have been really funny if you'd written that in a baby talk voice.

Along the same vein, I HATE when you are talking to another parent and they spell EVERYTHING out. For instance, here's a conversation I had the other day:

Me: What does your DD want for her birthday?
Other Mom: Oh I don't know. I w-a-n-t h-e-r t-o l-i-k-e p-r-i-n-c-e-s-s stuff but she's s-u-c-h a t-o-m-b-o-y. I could hardly keep up!

Haha. That would have been, but I'm not that quick...too busy wrestling a toddler.

God no, I do it all the time. My husband often works evenings, so it's just me and the toddler. So I tell him about my day, ask about his, talk about what we'll have for supper, whatever's on my mind...
