How do you know if you ovulate after ovidrel shot at SGF?

Because if you had a 20% chance on your own, you wouldn't be at the RE. IUIs typically aim to bring IF couple to where normal couples would be TTC on their own, so 15-20% depending on who you ask. Some REs say higher, some say lower, but that is the average. Everything can be perfect, and there is a very good chance it just won't work.

We are unexplained. All the test results are normal. But I think it doesn't mean we don't have problems, as we have been ttc on our own for a year. It's probably our problems haven't been found. Don't know if iui or ivf is a better choice for us.

I am also in the same boat. I also go to Shady Grove. My body is slow in recognizing the clomid and the brevelle shots they have me take to "mature the follicles" clomid helped create. I am on IUI #2 with beta tomorrow. My DH has problems so IUI is the only way to go, and for me I am irregular with unexplained infertility (I assume it's bc I don't ovulate regularly). Anyway, I have the same concern, with how my body is with the other hormones, how can I be certain the Ovidrel trigger is actually making me ovulate. I triggered on 9/15 before 11pm, then my IUI was scheduled for 11:30 am on 9/17. They also have me on progesterone suppositories.
For me, it is very frustrating because I live in DE and have to drive two hours to Annapolis and I end up making multiple trips every cycle. I voiced my concerns to my nurse about the protocol I am on. My insurance covers 6 iui at 50%, but IVF is NOT covered. However, I don't want to waste my time if this is a moot point for me and my DH. The money could be better spent on something more attainable like IVF or adoption.

Just frustrated myself.
