To the 30-something malignant melanoma survivor, there IS a brilliant doc in the DC area who is known the world over for his melanoma treatments - Dr Steven Rosenberg of the National Cancer Institute. I'm sure you know that but to someone else posting who might need help someday, there are excellent oncologists in the immediate DC area.

Anyway, many people are usually misinformed about cancer and its associated treatments. It's so great for people to post on their positive results AND attitudes.

There is also some new fangled t-cell clone cure out now. So far one person with mets have done well.

Yes, it saved the life the Portland, OR, man who wanted to stay anonymous...but I think they're still just testing it - and you have to be in certain stages to get it....
