1,000 % this.

It was a double edge sword. She was being kept on meds which made her normal but all to be a workhorse. How can someone who needs a conservatorship be responsible for a multi million dollar Las Vegas residency and perform?

If she's that ill she shouldn't have been forced to work. She may need help, but it doesn't make her father the right person to help her.

100% He exploited her.

My take is he was making sure she had enough money to be taken care of. Can you imagine her indigent?

She is like a female version of the joker.

She was a lot better off with a conservatorship, but millions of other people would be too and aren't subjected to the same. She clearly isn't incompetant to reject a conservatorship under normal legal rules and does not appear to be an immediate danger to herself or others... so here we are.

Britney's not long for this world.

Girls that are taught to be sex objects before they learn critical thinking skills end up lost like this. I feel for the child Britney in there somewhere. She is clearly not ok. This is what our culture, her parents, her agents, lawyers created.

I believe she’ll be dead by a drug overdose by 45. Really sad what has happened to her.

I hate that I actually agree with this

No she needed a conservatorship where the people in control actually took the time to help her and not just dope her up on medications

+100 her dad and the people he employed just used her as a work horse to make money. Many mentally ill people might benefit from oversight from others, but it is their right to do as they want. Britney isn’t hurting anyone. Before you start clamoring for control over her, please turn your attention to someone who is in fact destructive, like, say Kanye? The man is batsh*t nuts and no one is threatening to lock him up!

Agree. She needed a conservatorship, just not one managed by her family member with a financial conflict of interest.

Pretty much. Mentally unwell people need help and monitoring. If her dad wasn't a good conservator, that's one thing, but total dissolution was a terrible idea.

There are tons of non-famous, non-wealthy people with conservatorships because of mental health struggles. My cousin is one. Before my aunt was granted conservatorship, my cousin once spent $27k during a manic episode. It's much easier to fix a manic episode of spending when the budget is $1500 instead of unlimited. Did you know you can book a whole-ass petting zoo with the click of a button? Because you can. And then some random Wednesday afternoon when you're stable, two trucks towing animal trailers will show up at your apartment complex to find out where to set up the petting zoo.

Apparently, she only knows how to writhe, dance, and perform sexually explicit moves. Truly disturbing

She was sexualized from a very young age and sadly this is the result

I think this too, unfortunately. She’s been on borrowed time.
