Hearing her talk about crime as if it was a democrat issue was hysterical. I used to live in a UMC neighborhood in Alabama and we heard gunshots on a regular basis. A neighbor got a stray bullet in their house. The old money people were selling their beautiful homes because they were tired of getting burglarized.

Like, gurl— I don’t necessarily disagree with a lot of the points she was making but her delivery REALLY turned me off and I eventually just tuned it out completely because I hate over the top dramatics. (I was in the other room away from T.V.—listening and not watching).

I also had to turn it off. I said this on the other thread but it was like when the HS cheerleader tries out for the lead in the school play and thinks she’s totally killing it while everyone just cringes. Hard to watch.

She criticized Biden's age, as if the GOP candidate doesn't have the same age problem.

She made a passing promise to protect in vitro fertilization, without acknowledging that her state of Alabama and GOP-appointed Supreme Court Justices and GOP State Legislatures are the reason it's in jeopardy in the first place.

Biden gave a speech about what he wants to do next and Britt gave a speech about how we should be afraid and reactionary.

Given that he just wrapped up the nomination, it seems like a missed chance by the GOP to have Trump deliver the response so that we could directly compare/contrast. I wonder why they didn't have confidence in that approach or how that would have gone?
