There are ethics requirements for judges— although it’s true they don’t really seem to apply to the Supreme Court.

But for any other judge at least it would be wrong for them to be making public political statements about issues that are coming before the court.

Really the best part of this is that rather than owning up to it, he blamed his wife. Why is it that powerful men who get caught doing bad things so frequently blame their wives?
