How are Alito and Thomas still on the court? |
Because apparently we like traitors in this country. |
Stunning |
Because the GOP has no decency and no spine. |
He has a right to free speech because, get this, Supreme Court justices are US citizens.
It’s his private property. |
Must be why he blamed it on his wife. |
There are ethics requirements for judges— although it’s true they don’t really seem to apply to the Supreme Court. But for any other judge at least it would be wrong for them to be making public political statements about issues that are coming before the court. |
Really the best part of this is that rather than owning up to it, he blamed his wife. Why is it that powerful men who get caught doing bad things so frequently blame their wives?
|
Where are you posting from that you have this little knowledge about the volume of rules, ethics, and professional behavior that federal employees have to follow? |
"I had no involvement whatsoever in the flying of the flag," Alito told the Times in an emailed statement. "It was briefly placed by Mrs. Alito in response to a neighbor’s use of objectionable and personally insulting language on yard signs."

Maybe because she was the one who hung it, and not him? What a ridiculous question, but I get you have to "blame the patriarchy" somehow. |
Any evidence of that other the the word of a liar? |
Imagine Justice Jackson displayed a BLM flag on her property. You don't think the right would be losing its collective sh!t? |
What a gentlemen! The tribe complains about the supposed lost of family values but fails to realize that they are leading the way. |
+1 It really is astonishing that this got so little attention. |
