Jenna Bush - nepotism at it's finest.

I never watched this, so I don't know about her voice, but she is well-groomed and attractive. Chubby yes, but that's goes into diversity bucket now.

That goes for most first kids.

Do you think Malia Obama would be gainfully employed in Hollywood if she had different parents? Or the tons of other nepo babies in various industries? You don’t have to like Jenna Bush Hager but if the ratings didn’t support her being there she wouldn’t be. It’s just life that some people have more connections because of their families. It’s always been that way and always will be.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Neither one of them should be in entertainment. This is one of the many reasons tv and movies and music SUCK these days. People like Malia and Jenna taking the spots of the truly talented.

Be real. The truly talented aren't doing morning chat shows.

I’m not talking about Marie Curie, I’m talking about someone with a broadcasting voice/look, like Katie Couric. And I hate Katie Couric, but she has the right voice and the right look, Jenna does not. She looks ridiculous compared to the other Today Show hosts.

I mean I get that someone like Jenna would have every door open for her, but I can’t get over the self-delusion she must have to go on tv with her looks and voice. It’s kinda shocking. But then again her daddy and grandpa had no problem invading other countries for their financial interests, so a network tv job isn’t the worst this one’s capable of (and I say this as a political conservative). They are just awful, highly obnoxious people. At least her twin stays behind the scenes where she belongs. That gotta be my favorite Bush. Hands down.

What’s wrong with her voice and looks?

If you really cannot see the difference between Jenna and Hoda, or even someone awful and annoying like Kathi Lee, you must be blind, deaf and dumb.

I can't (NP). She's cute, bland, and girl-next-door. She's no great beauty, but looks like every mildly attractive morning news host for time immemorial.

Since 2016, in the light of the shi$ show that our politics has become Bush family comes across as super decent and nice people. I would have Jenna Bush on a TV show any day than Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner making 2 billion dollar deals with Saudis and Qataris.

As for the person who keep mentioning Hoda, she looks tired all the time, Jenna looks much more energetic and fresh for mornings.

The Bush family already made their money invading Iraq. You want them to go for Saudi Arabia and Qatar, too?

I'm still upset that CBS replaced Scott Pelley on the CBS evening news to the talented Nora O'Donnell. Nothing against O'Donnell, I just really liked Pelley's delivery style & personality.

Hoda needs a new nanny! No wealthy women I know with a nanny look that tired all the time.

Also if people didn’t tune in, she’d be out.
She and Honda have good chemistry and are fun and relatable in an every woman way that is actually quite remarkable given her connections. Unlike most president’s kids— Jenna attended public high school in Austin (Austin High) and the flagship University of Texas. So even in light of her family background of extreme privilege, she is in touch with basic life experiences of regular people so she’s able to speak authentically while also providing some interesting insight intoThe family dynamics of the Bush family. That’s what morning show viewers want to see.

Hoda.
That was an autocorrect. 😵‍💫

This makes me laugh.
I mean you seem to forget that GW was the devil incarnate according to the left. Ellen Degeneres was nearly canceled over appearing in a photo in a shared box at some kind of sporting event during the Obama years.
But then Trump appears on scene (after a rise in prominence pushed and platformed entirely by the Hollywood left btw) and suddenly Bush isn’t nearly as bad as Trump! You though Bush was bad?—-this Trump guy is REALLY bad!!!!
And as soon as Trump is out of the picture, the mantra that will accompany the next prominent Republican in the horizon will be “omg he’s sooooo much worse than Trump!!”
Seriously this rhetoric was already ramping up when DeSantis was rising in the polls but then once he dropped out you hear nothing of that anymore. So I guess Florida is fine now?

When everyone is evil, no one is.
And when you cry wolf too many times, it loses meaning. So when it’s actually a wolf—we’ve already heard the cries of panic too many times to take you seriously.

Obviously.
But if the viewer (aka average American) werent conditioned to revere celebrity, then no one would watch her. And if no one watches, they wouldn’t keep her.
So bottom line is that her presence brings and revenue to the table. And she’s smart enough to appear relatable and slightly left of center so as to make viewers forgive her for being a Bush daughter.

It's really three things:

- The past gets hazy

- GWB has seemed like a pretty decent and innocuous guy since leaving office - painting and whatnot instead of turning into some kind of twitter-obsessed Qanon fanatic

- He was pretty bad as president, but we had no idea how bad things could get until Trump came along. He sure showed us.

And 4th - I live in Florida and DeSantis is terrible. Hold a gun to my head and make me choose between him and Trump, sure I'll choose Meatball. But he suuuucks. As everyone found out once he was on a national stage.

Does anyone even watch daytime tv anymore? They got rid of soaps, which I adored and dvded because they cost too much to produce and no one was watching. That was ten to fifteen years ago. I’ll bet it’s even worse now. Housewives ironing in front of the tv is a relic of the past. Ratings are fine across the board and Jenna literally probably pays for herself. It’s likely a glamour shots vanity project.

No, I wouldn’t. I would be embarrassed (for her) to have a daughter like Jenna on tv. I would urge to have my child do something she was good at. Jenna being on the today show just illustrates the audacity of her and her family. They are truly awful people who have no modesty or boundaries.

Please share the secret to being so perfect.
