KC Chiefs fans - suspicious deaths...

I know the families are hurting……they are not only stunned by their loved ones sudden, tragic demise but they also have learned their loved one ingested drugs.
That might have been shocking news to them, especially the one Female relative who claimed that one of the victims didn’t even do drugs.

Now that toxicology test results show they have, family members want to place blame on ANYONE and they are using the surviving friend as a scapegoat.
One Mother of the victim even spoke out, saying her son was likely a victim of peer pressure (🤔).
Sorry men in their mid-30’s are way past peer pressure!

People are saying the host likely found his three friends dead inside his house, then dragged their bodies outside afterward.
Others are claiming since this guy was a scientist 👨🏻‍🔬 he must have concocted the lethal drug cocktail that ended up killing his three friends.

Family members are upset that one of the guys survived this situation and are jealous that he is still alive.
So they want to make him out to be a murderer.

Truth be told, he is only alive today because he never stepped foot aside.

There is no murderer in this story.
Three men snorted cocaine and smoked weed while watching a playoff football game at their friend’s home.
In spite of their family members stating that they did not do drugs, they surely did.

And now they all have tragically passed away.
Case closed.

Maybe … it is weird to find 3 men who at first blush all died in a friends backyard as if they’d frozen to death. This unusual bit would still garner media attention.

I am not so sure it would have.

I mean, people die from fentanyl all over the U.S.
And in many different and unique situations too.
This likely would have been just another PSA to locals to stay away from drugs, especially after you have children.

But the Chiefs have been plastered all over the news and tabloids recently, due to their upcoming Super Bowl presence and of course their Taylor Swift connection.
This news story just adds to all of that.

Since I haven’t heard anything new re: this case in the past few days, I think it is pretty much a closed case…?
A bunch of guys got together to watch their favorite football team play, they get high during the process.
One guy gets sleepy and opts to go to bed.
Three others decide to step outside to either smoke or cool off (drugs can make you hot.)
Due to the lethal amount of fentanyl ingested, one by one the guys outside pass out.
That should be the end of the story.

-> I doubt the guy who stayed inside killed his friends, then dragged them outside.
And the reason he never noticed his buddies were out back was because he was passed out for 2 days straight.

This is happening in colleges and high schools across the country right now. A young person takes what they think is a legit pain killer or pill of ecstasy provided to them by a "friend" and they are accidentally poisoned with fentanyl.

There was a pretty well-know electronic music artist who died in LA a few weeks ago from accidental fentanyl poisoning. He, his wife, and one of his best friends were all found dead in their apartment:

This isn't an "overdose." It's legit poisoning. And it's an epidemic right now.

Every parent of a teenage kid should have narcan at their home. Your kids should be sent off to college with narcan. They never know when they might need it for themselves, a roommate, or a random stranger.

If this homeowner had a supply of Narcan in his home, he likely would've been able to stop his own symptoms and save all his friends.

Ok, but is this a real thing that middle aged men are doing, when they're sitting at someone's house watching football? I mean, one of these men had three children! Maybe I'm completely naive, but my husband (also a father of three) and someone who definitely watches football with his friends, is drinking whisky, not randomly doing cocaine.

Some do, but most don't. I bet most of the guys did not use it habitually, but they were probably offered some by the host of the party and thought "Why not?" It's an evening away from their families and responsibilities. Under normal circumstances, it's short acting and not dangerous (unless you're doing large amounts or have pre-existing comorbidities).

This is a cautionary tale that doing drugs obviously has unintended consequences.

Sadly it also can leave family members out in the cold, all alone too.

The press is making it a huge deal how the guy who survived did not look out of his window for two days straight.
They paint that as suspicious behavior.
I do not think it is when someone has ingested drugs, especially fentanyl as we now know.
And where does this idea that he killed all three of his friends…..then one by one dragged their bodies outside to appear that they all froze to death?? What motive would he have to murder three of his buddies?
And why is it fishy that he put all his belongings in storage then went to rehab?
His three friends dying at his house, this story making nat’l news, etc., likely was a wake up call that he needed help.

The guy was superficially a responsible guy with a grown up job. He was clearly sleeping off his near OD for two days and freaked the fck out when he realized what happened. Moving out and directly into rehab seems like the world’s most normal next step to me.

The poor families. Hopefully Taylor does a benefit concert for them.

Drug addicts use together and die together. The only ones to blame are these three men. They made a very bad choice to use drugs that night.

You revived this thread for that statement?

I haven’t heard anything new regarding this story, but truthfully I didn’t really expect to.

I never suspected foul play in any way, shape or form.
I just assumed a bunch of 30-something’s all got together one Sunday to watch some football 🏈 and stupidly (mutually) also decided to get high while doing so.

The three men that died likely went outside to smoke & they probably all died from an overdose.

The one guy who was inside likely fell into a deep sleep (due to the drug usage) which explained why he never saw his buddies dead in his backyard for days.

I don’t think he would have a motive to murder his three friends.
Or opportunity since he likely was too passed out.

Sadly the guys who died outdoors likely all OD’d at about the same time.
This was/is an excellent example of why people should stay faarrr away from any + all drugs!

I totally agree.
The guy inside was likely close to overdosing himself which could explain how he slept two entire days.
And since he likely was asleep the entire two days - it is not surprising that he never looked out his backyard window.

Also nothing is suspicious about him storing his belongings in storage, then going into rehab.

Almost overdosing on Fentanyl yourself while learning three of your friends were found dead in your backyard is enough of a reason to seek professional help.

People speculating that he injected the drugs into his friends was the dumbest idea.
The loved ones just needed to accept the fact that their deceased loved one did drugs that night……they did it on their own free will and at their age(s) had the ability to leave or at minimum, choose not to partake in getting high.

Hurt people are looking for someone to blame but the truth of the matter is these men all made a stupid decision that tragically, ended up costing them the rest of their lives…..🙁

They were likely taking what they thought was "Percocet" but really was just a phony street pill that had fentanyl as the active ingredient. The guy who survived already had a tolerance to fentanyl/opiates, so this is why he survived whereas it killed his friends who were just normie dads with no tolerance to the drug.

I'm curious if the police will charge the survivor with their deaths and for distribution of narcotics. They will need to find proof that he provided the pills the to the men. Police and DAs usually try to hold the distributors responsible for the accidental overdose deaths of others.
