I need to buy a drip coffee maker

The people have spoken: they want their endless cups of weak, weak drip coffee. It is time to hang up the old Moka pot and buy a countertop coffee maker.

Do you like your coffee maker? I don't want anything fancy--no steam wands, no espresso settings, nothing i need a cellphone app to program--just good, old-fashioned cups of joe. Basically I need a coffee maker that is the same quality as you might find in a 64 oz cup of 7-11 coffee, circa 1999.

Go to Walmart and buy a cheap mainstay coffee maker. I have one for my husband. This thing has lasted 3 years so far.

I own a Cuisinart 10-12 cup. Less than $100 from Amazon, Macy's and maybe Kohl's.

lol. Wirecutter recommended the 12 cup ninja programmable coffee maker CE 251 as the most reliable. It’s only $70 on Amazon!

We have a simple Cuisinart 14 “cup” drip coffeemaker. Our first one lasted 15 years, hope this one does too.

I have had both the Cuisinart and Ninja coffee makers. I like both very much. I grind my own coffee every morning, and use the “strong” setting on my Ninja. I don’t think drip coffee has to be weak.
