Best thing you did on any trip?

Me: high tea at the Balmoral in Scotland with my mom. I will never forget how amazing that was.
Second: snorkeling in Maui every day. I wanted to read my book on the beach but the snorkeling was so good I was in the water all the time.

Ooh good question!

I think my top would be visiting the elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai.

Most of my fave experiences usually involve eating lol. So many amazing dishes in thailand, XLB & pepper pork buns in taiwan, hawkers market in singapore, beignets in nola.

Snorkeling and seeing a sea turtle in Maui
Watching lions and cubs on safari in Tanzania
Doing a long walk in Australia where we saw almost no people and tons of kangaroos
Riding bikes in Mexico City on La Reforma

So hard to narrow it down!

Spent a fabulous week in Cottage 7 at Caneel Bay (RIP) on St. John. Fun fact: Brangelina and Madonna stayed in the same cottage after we did (saw pics). It was everything you would imagine. Sigh.

Me again.

We had a private beach and routinely saw giant turtles, rays, and beautiful fish in waist deep water. It was amazing!

Which elephant sanctuary? We're going to Chiang Mai earlier this year, and I need to start researching this.

Jumping off a boat in Hawaii right as a pod of dolphins swam by

Did a group tour of that included camping in the Grand Canyon about 30 years ago. Instead of sleeping in the tent we slept on top of the tour van ( it had rails) it was so amazing falling asleep under the stars, beautiful and so peaceful. Dunno if I’d enjoy it now I’m 50 quite as much lol
