They have been very in style with younger women for quite a while. I work at GW and the women undergrads, and even more so the med students, have all been wearing pearl earrings for several years. I do think it might be on the way out though, as big 80s-style earrings make their way in. We'll see. But at any rate "Oh God no. 18 year olds don't want pearls" is incorrect. |
