She’s an April birthday… Diamonds will be too much!

Increase the budget a smidge and you can get them. https://www.bluenile.com/jewelry/earrings/lab-grown-diamond-stud-earrings-in-14k-white-gold-1-2-ct-tw-item-150575

I still have the pearl necklace I was given for high school graduation and pearl studs I was given for my 20th. They’re always in style if she’s has a classic style.

This is the one we went with, DD loves it.

That’s really pretty and meets the price constraint. I might copy you!

Yuck.. bland and only silver. For $500 buy gold.

+1 same. Pearls are for grandmothers.

You could get lab grown diamonds. More ethical and affordable.

When I graduated high school and college my parents bought me a small diamond cross and then small diamond huggie hoops. I am still wearing them over 20 years later!

You can find diamond studs on eBay or in vintage stores. Also, they can be studs with a cluster of tiny diamonds instead of one larger gem. Lastly, lab grown diamonds are real diamonds and much more affordable.

We got DD a David Yurman bracelet. Hermes bracelet is a little over but she also has gotten that

The Tiffany pendant with the tiny turquoise heart. Every girl my dd brings home has it on.

Pearls are timeless. If she doesn't appreciate that, she's too young to have them.
