Is it true the Lacrosse player from Lightridge HS was Bullied or not?

Why? This is a very public story. Channel 7 news did multiple story's on this. It is relevant to lacrosse and other kids my be in similar positions. This is why forums are created in the first place. |

Forums that are anonymous and have no basis or proof of actions that are being levied cannot be taken seriously. The Indies coach, reputation and character was dragged through the mud and it was all nonsense. Just like this instance here. |

If she was bullied why didn't she choose to go to a school much closer to where she lives (ie John Champe, Freedom, etc.)? Instead chose the school that made it to the state finals in lacrosse last year. My DD is friends with several girls on the Lightridge lacrosse team and they are pretty adamant that this is purely a desire to move to a better team team. |

The Indy coach is the girls travel coach, so he has a little something to do with it. It isn't like there aren't closer HS to Light Ridge than Independence. |

| I can tell you why she didn’t play for champ or freedom south riding, and it has nothing to do with the two coaches, but they are her travel coaches at Indy. I don’t think either coach would put themselves in jeopardy and recruit. I think this was done by her family. |

Bingo. Deny Deny. This is was a problem with all schools in the county and they need to put a stop to it. You go to your local school or you go to a private school (PVI) period (oh and you do have two other school that are closer to Freedom SR and J. Champe). Unless, it is something to do with a school not offering a subject or accommodation that another can provide. For just sports that is just crazy. Side note the dumb boards (past and current) also should have planned locations of High Schools better by having all these little HS less than 5-10 miles from each other is crazy. They should have planned for all the development and built larger schools and you wouldn't have this recruiting issue between schools to deal with the kid is either good or not and they get cut or make it like the old days. Did the bullying really happen? My guess it started after it was known she wanted to transfer to the better team/school to be with club coach. Was the requested granted or not? Tryout started last week. |
