Simple. Talent consolidation. The DMV is terribly diluted. NOVA can't support 5 ECNL clubs while also adding now 3 GA options and remain competitive on a national stage. ECNL is only aggressively expanding and taking GA clubs to kill of GA. Once GA is no longer a credible threat ECNL will then prune the vines through the use of the Regional league for underperforming clubs. |
