Do you believe in ghosts?

Just curious.

No, they're fairytales.

Yes, I do...and if you had ever gone into my grandmother's house, you would as well!

I was never in your grandmother's house but I grew up in an old, old house and Yes, I do believe because I have experienced their presence and felt something otherworldly. I've never seen a ghost but I believe. There is an historic plantation on Route 1, I think,--maybe Sully Plantation--go there sometime and you, too, can feel their presence.

Nope.

You're a fool not to.
Way too many personal experiences to say otherwise.

There was a thread on this that was really interesting. Search "bump" on this forum.

Little did I realize that instead of "things that go bump in the night" you'd get every thread that's been "bumped". The link is above.

Ghosts definitely exist. I was having dinner at friends house, and the lights started flickering and a cold wind went right through my back and my leggs. I was wearing a longer skirt and my skirt was moving with the wind. Then it completely stopped. For some reason, I was not scared at all...but I do believe.

I've always believed, but not until last week did I see one. I always thought I'd be scared, but something woke me up in the night, need to pee, whatever, and I looked, and a woman with her back to me was standing by my DH closet. As soon as I sat up, she started slowly walking across my room towards the door, and I noticed she had a scarf on her head, the way my old nanny used to. Right before she got to the door, she started to disappear. I was never scared, just curious. I think she was there to protect me. I'm expecting and having some difficulties..

Who knows...my DH thinks I dreamnt it, but I know what I saw and I believe in ghosts.

I do as well. Not necessarily that they are out to get us or whatever, but that there's another dimension that we generally can't see but sometimes we can if that makes any sense. I moved into the house I'm in after college when the old lady who lived her died. Occasionally I can feel her presence when I'm doing a craft or painting the walls or whatever. I don't think it's a bad thing, and the vibe I get is that she's just curious about what I'm doing.

anyone have a conversation with their ghost?

Definitely. My best friend in high school lived in a 100 year old Victorian house and we definitely experienced the presence of ghosts there.

I read through all of these, and the only one that gave me chills was this one. Not necessarily in a bad something evil way. Just in a there's something to this way.
