Unfortunately, the two opening seats aren't a big loss, so it wouldn't take much to at least match if we can't improve the quality of members. Sadly, there are many who don't even measure up to that level. Remember that guy who ran against MT?

The last time we had 2 seats open we had 4 candidates in the race until Symone had to drop out of caucus. And she still ran in general. We may not even get 2 this time.

What happens when there is an unclaimed seat? Can the CB appoint members?

I think the county board appoints them. Nancy Van Doren was appointed to the board to fill out the term of a board member who resigned.

Oh I hope someone runs so we don’t end up with another board member like Miranda Turner. Do her kids even go to an APS school? Didn’t she run unchallenged?
