My kid was there when it happened. I remember hearing a girl was gang raped, then nothing happened.

Can't believe I never heard of this.

FCPS is good at covering things up. Look at how little anyone knows about Hayfield's admin being put on leave. Makes me wonder what else the county has hushed up. This poor woman.

Why would we since it’s about 12 years old?

Let me guess, this is the the parent that is angry about the recent theft? (Her kid left his money in his locker in his laptop sleeve).

Yes,they protect privacy. That's a good thing.

Did you listen to the report. It sounds like several parts of this case were dismissed. Why couldn’t the reporter share more about that? What is Fox-5 covering up?

You think it's a good thing that they are protecting the privacy of teachers and administrators who failed to protect a student and failed to investigate or report a gang rape?

11 years is a long time. Similar to that Oakton case. I do remember reading about the Oakton bus thing at the time, but I don't recall hearing about this one. And, I know lots of familes with kids at Carson.

Yes, they should protect them until the investigation is complete.

Wow. You do know she reported it at the time but it wasn't taken seriously? Way to blame the victim. FCPS is disgusting.

What exactly is she claiming happened?

Has any thing been proven or is it still an allegation?

These things are tough enough when they occur. Eleven years later? I guess it depends on the paper trail.

Can you read the linked article and/or listen to the video? A twelve-yr. old alleges she was gang-raped. Pretty horrific.
