I never heard of Georgetown Prep before moving here. Always heard the most elite schools in DC were Sidwell, NCS and STA.

Plenty of children of prominent people graduated from Sidwell, but it has not produced much in the way of prominent alumni. I’m not certain about NCS. The only school in the DC area that rivals Prep with respect to alumni is Saint Albans.

Plenty of children of prominent people graduated from Sidwell, but it has not produced much in the way of prominent alumni. I’m not certain about NCS. The only school in the DC area that rivals Prep with respect to alumni is Saint Albans.

I have no issue with Prep but hasn’t it been around twice as long as the other schools? Isn’t it more than 200 years old?
