She stayed fairly consistent with "type" for a while and it didn't work. Wouldn't you be willing to try something different after all that "type" didn't work? He hasn’t touched hard drugs in years. Just because someone made a mistake in their past doesn’t make them a bad person. None of us are perfect. I have a friend who missed a year in college because she was an addict. It was very bad. She is a mom and a surgeon now who saves lives on a daily basis.

I agree with this except I think he’s the one who slammed the door. This album is her way of coming to terms with it and, hopefully for her sake, moving on. Maybe she ends up with Travis, maybe not, but Matt’s Healy does not want her (and all that goes with it).
