ECNL forcing Brave & Union Partnership

So I just took a peek at Brave and they are competitive on the girls side. On the boys, the 2 older age groups are actually doing good when it counts. If its all about development the that shows me that they can develop players and team. No one cares about a U13 team's record.

MV will end up coaching Vienna ECNL RL, he wont be invited to the party.

Why would Union bring Vienna into this new partnership? BRYC has the charter of ECNL, so this new alliance will only be Mclean, BRYC and Great Falls.

Joe Biden just got younger and is now 51 years old. Confirmed.

See, anyone can do it.

Joe Biden here, I can summarize this thread in one word, what a bunch of malarkey.

What definition are you using for the word "competitive?" With exception of on age group, they are doing pretty bad.

Why are we getting into another Brave bashing thread. Can't it continue on the original Brave bashing thread?

no way in hell this happens, if anything it will be full absorption or BRAVE ECNL. No one in Brave will touch the staff for either side of union

McLean retained the charter in the Union partnership with SYC. Same for Loudoun with NVA. Brave is different. BRYC gave up the charter. Brave has the charter.

Did someone post the absurd notion that the GA is competition to ECNL? On the girls side, there is one serious GA team between South Carolina and Maine and that club is FCV. No serious elite players is looking at the other clubs if they can play ECNL.

That being said, fewer ECNL clubs is not a bad thing. ECNL should just bring FCV back into the fold, release Loudoun and BRAVE from ECNL and voila, you have a more competitive landscape in NOVA.

Don't be so sure of that notion. The argument that I can agree with is that GA and ECNL will be delivering different products, so some will choose ECNL and some will choose GA. Which one is best for your kid is in the eyes of the consumer, but unless a slew of RL girls start packing GA rosters not sure where this superiority complex is coming from
