ISL will be interesting but SR probably still number 1 with the most depth. Visi and SSSAS will keep it close though.

Agree that SR is the favorite in the ISL, but don't sleep on Potomac. SSAS probably a year away. Visi has talent, but coaching?

Definitely SSAS or SR. SSAS a year away from what??? Saints have the most depth on their roster. Saints beat all 3 teams at some point last spring. The Saints roster is stacked with skilled sophomore Capital Blue players and will have a top 2024 UVA commit back playing that had been injured along with several Cap 2024/2025 D1 committed players. Goalie changes will help too. Let us not forget Saints has an amazing, experienced, HS coach plus 3 incredible assistant coaches. The future is very bright for SSAS.

Do you really need to crap on a high school goalie?

Did anyone see BI beat up on SR yesterday at the St James? Their new players seemed well integrated. I think everyone better watch out!

What's the format? 7v7? Genuinely curious as I couldn't find a definitive answer on the site.

Yes it is 7v7. SR didn't have several key players the UNC commit for one she was down at the UNC camp with several other of her teammates they also had girls at off at different camps as well. And it's indoor no draws 7v7 you just can't compare that to full field. let them play full field its probably an easy 7-8 goal win for SR.

HAHAHAHA!!!!

The final score shows BIGLax 19 SR V 17 2 goals and they got beat up...

I love the optimism of the BI fan.

I’ve anyways been under the impression that a champ who loses gets punched in the face. I would say 19 goals against SR is cause for some excitement.

Unless SR is really overrated.

St. James means very little especially over holidays. Nevertheless, good win for BI. BI 24s are a great bunch of girls who deserve a great season. Wishing them all the best.

Let’s me real, for everyone thinking this off season lacrosse means something is completely false. This doesn’t represent any real lacrosse just girls getting into shape. Don’t base potential matchups based off of this.

+1. Winter league doesn't mean much.

BI played very well. I believe the 2 teams play on a full field in regular season. Probably should hold off on the chirping until then.

BI parents like to chirp early. They have some really good players, including the transfers who played very well. Don’t jump the gun. Funny to brag about a winter game when many regular players were not there perhaps on both sides. You played well, but wait until the regular season.

Comical.

I have no affiliation with either team.

But it does sound like the SR side is a little worried. It’s ok both teams I am sure were missing players. Players come and players go from teams every year. Some graduate and some are freshmen. Glad to hear BI is sounding strong and healthy again. It will make for a good fun competitive season!

Which teams are playing next week at Spooky Nook?

Tournament standings and schedule are on Tournament Machine, but team names are not always clear. Looks like GC, PVI, BI, SJC, SR, Saints, Visi are in it for the DC area based on mascot names. There may be others but the team names are not always obvious.

That’s awesome that all 7 of the DC areas best teams are playing with the Nations best.
