The success of the HS players and what the alums in college r actually doing on the field is why our DD plays for the program and is not club shopping. I am grateful for the family friend who had 2 girls go through program. Arrogance over athleticism is toxic. This weekend at Champions Cup MCE 25s went 4-0, 26s and 28s did well too.

Everyone has left this club including the coaches. Based on the year I would try for Next Level or Bethesda. Then in high school try for Capital. If you can handle the drive just go straight to Hero's now.

Plus 1. Coaches are extremely unreliable and you will often find your team with a college student who doesn't even know the players as your coach at tournaments and games.

Who is everyone and which coaches have left ? I would love for my daughter to learn from a college player in the summer.

Who is the 2026 coach? Who is the 2027 coach? Who is the 2028 coach? Who is the 2029 coach? Who is the 2030 coach? maybe someone out there can tell us

Visi is mainly Pride and Captial, even M&D. 3 MCE 24s play for Visi total between both MCE teams.

A little check on the rosters posted to websites helps fact check.

The 22s were coached by the SR coach which probably explains it.

That does not explain it.

There are no college coaches - there are college kids assisting coaches at tournaments.

College assistants coach at tournaments when the regular staff coaches don't show up.

There is no coaching attrition. All coaches have been there for many years and aren't going anywhere. There is no attrition. As an MC parent, please do not lie about this club to try and dissuade people from coming.

A quick website check shows coaches for 2022-23 on MC website, couldn't find any listed for NL (although they used to be listed and there were several high school girls on there listed as coaches for younger teams) and the BLC coaching list is old (I personally know a bunch of those dad "coaches" they have listed and their kids have all left BLC and play at other clubs now). If you are really considering a club and they make you an offer then call them, ask who the coach will be, how long they have been there, etc. We always did that and it was worth the conversation.

They are not assisting. They are showing up when the actual coach decides not to show up. They don't know the players. And often they are late.

The problem is the bait and switch tactic. This happens too.

Very good advice. Club doesnt matter as much as the coach but be sure that you actually talk to the coach and they tell you they are coaching because bait and switch is very real. This is what MC has listed online. Much of this is not still the case

2024 – Nicole Caffrey, Lindsey DiAntonio
2025 – Greg Danto, Jill Marks, Shannon Holliday

2027 – Jenna Ries

The title says 22/23, so next year. You are correct in that the list is not accurate for 21/22 year but maybe they are switching it up?

Agreed. There are a lot of lies here on this thread.
