Are there any genuinely normal, well-adjusted celebrities

Again, she's from a different country with different values. She's also insanely beautiful but not stupid thin like many celebrity women.

She is an American-born in Miami/raised in LA of Cuban descent. So, she not from a “different country.”

She seems pretty vain and neurotic to me. Eva "my man" Mendes.

This. I mean, I am not sure I would call him entirely normal, but well adjusted and super amazing for sure.

Another person who can’t use Google. In what world is Mick Jagger well adjusted?

He likes his ladies but there are civilian men out there with worse records.

Watched a couple of interviews with him and he seems pretty normal. And interesting!

I would argue Keith Richards is more normal, married for 4 decades to the same woman and not often in the news.

He lives in CT as well.

NP neither of them seem normal to me. She tries way too hard and seems full of herself.

Agreed - Emily Blunt is not cool. A video surfaced a while back of her talking an overweight waitress who had served her food. Emily was extremely mean spirited and catty. Then she had to issue a BS apology - “I’m so embarrassed! Guys that’s not me! I’m so down to earth and kind!” Give me a break.

A few act like they’re in witness protection wearing caps and sunglasses everywhere even though there’s no one to see them and none of the other parents care. The more relaxed/normal ones are easy to spot and are genuinely open and nice. My kid is friends with several celeb kids and when they spend time at their homes they say the parents are nice, normal moms and dads.

This post is useless without names!

Emily Blunt is in the wpp
Peter Sarsgaard and Maggie Gyllenhaal seem pretty normal and down to earth.

People say Maggie gylenhaal is actually incredibly rude.

A good friend of mine grew up with Maggie and Jake and has always said he was shy/nice and she was a huge jerk even when they were kids.

But also people are complex and I don't think any one person's experience is definitive. I actually think how celebs treat fans is not the best measure for how down to earth they are, because interacting with a fan as a celebrity is a very weird and specific experience. You could be a very down to earth person and come off as rude and aloof to fans because lots of down to earth people don't like being accosted by strangers on the street. Meanwhile there are people who are famous for being very kind to fans and they are likely very good at projecting a fake version of themselves that seems authentic because I think that's the only way to graciously deal with being very recognizable. That's impressive, but not "normal."

Yes, I just expressed this in the comment above, but people are conflating "celebrity who I think I'd enjoy hanging out with" with "normal, well-adjusted." Those are not the same thing at all. Often the people who are the most fun to hang out with are the least normal -- normal people are usually pretty boring.

Lol, no. But it's a testament to her and her publicity team that you think this.

please do go on

There is no way that Jennifer Garner is not weird in the way most very famous people are weird. It's not a personal insult to her. She does a good job of working her natural charm and "folksy" manner to seem down to earth, but I guarantee if she showed up in your office tomorrow, or you saw her in the grocery store, she would seem strange to you. She has lived an extremely not normal life, including being married to Affleck and going through a super public and terrible divorce, so it's unlikely she is "normal" in the way OP means.

But yes, it's impressive that she can still convince people that she's the lady next door. She is very good in that role. But it's a role.

Apparently not according to a fair amount of literature over the years. However, let's talk about $$. Everything being equal, these people have money upon money. That alone makes people different.

Literature? Babe, US Weekly is not "literature."

Yes! Living in a certain neighborhood, this is so true! The suburban SAHMs with their oversized SUVs. Alo brand gym clothes, including dark baseball hat and sunglasses, and all have same or similar bags, and all use the same derm -hilarious and so true!

Clones, I tell you!

Denzel Washington (I've met him...he's way more normal than he should be)

Samuel Jackson
Don Cheadle
Viola Davis
Queen Latifah
Octavia Spencer
Regina King

I once watched an interview Denzel's son did and the way he spoke about his mother made me think he was raised well.

The Obamas.

Unusually funny and very normal. You’d forget they were ever in the White House.

Girls are a bit more stand offish to strangers but the Obamas are supernormal . I know someone who was their next door neighbor in DC

Anne Hathaway seems super normal to me.
