 e completion of the First Transcontinental Railroad in 1869. Finally\,
  there were train tracks connecting the East and the West\, allowing t
 he Post Office to quickly move mail by trains across the entire countr
 y. Over time\, trains have played an important role in keeping our nat
 ion connected.
