DESCRIPTION:(Postponed from 10/1 to 10/15 due to severe weather)  Girl
 s at least age 11 (or 10 and finished fifth grade) and a parent or tru
 sted adult are invited to a welcome open house to learn more about the
  DMV's largest Scouts BSA Troop for Girls.  We meet from 10 AM to Noon
  on Saturday twice each month at All Souls Episcopal Church\, 2300 Cat
 hedral Ave.\, NW (between Woodley Park Metro and the Zoo).  This is th
 e program formerly known as “Boy Scouts” in an all-girl implementa
 tion.  Our Troop is all-girl\, comprised of many sub-groups known as �
 ��patrols”. We follow the identical citizenship\, outdoor adventure 
 and physical fitness program.  We are intensively outdoor-oriented\, w
 ith monthly campouts and big annual trips to go backpacking at places 
 like Philmont Scout Reservation in New Mexico.  Stop by and learn abou
