SUMMARY:Pelvic Floor 101: Demystifying Mula Bandha
DESCRIPTION:This 4 hour workshop is a deep exploration of the physiolo
 gy of the pelvis\, the role of the pelvic floor muscles\, and demystif
 ying mula bandha. The first 2 hours of this workshop will be a deep di
 ve into pelvic anatomy and physiology\, exploring individually and thr
 ough partner work how our bodies move in space as well as the inner wo
 rkings of our physical and energetic bodies. Then we'll explore the po
 wer of mula bandha: exploring the stability of pelvic floor engagement
  in movement as well as the importance of releasing these muscles for 
 restoration. Culminating this workshop in an hour-long practice explor
 ing the application of all that we learned. Be prepared for lecture\, 
 movement\, and working together with fellow participants.\nEach partic
 ipant will be provided with worksheets and other materials\; please br
 ing a pen to write with. This workshop is eligible for Yoga Alliance C
 EUs.\n\nThis workshop is led by Jess Gruber\, who is currently pursuin
