 ugh an energetic and engaging repertoire of original music including t
 itles like "Watermelon Felon," "Spill the Beans," and "I Like Toys." \
 n\nSinger-songwriter Marsha Goodman-Wood is known for setting little t
 oes to tapping with original melodies that mix generous doses of scien
 ce and positive social messages into songs that are just plain fun. He
 r quirky\, smart compositions take on topics from astronomy\, answerin
 g the age-old question “Why Can’t You Dance on Jupiter?” to nonc
 onformity with “Sheep Don’t Wear Shoes,” and biology in “The P
 enguin Song.” A former cognitive neuroscientist\, Marsha includes fu
 n facts and lessons in her songs! Recently named a Washington Post Edi
 tor’s Pick\, Marsha is also a nominee for Best Children’s Artist o
 f 2013 by the Washington Area Music Association (WAMA). Her 2012 relea
 se\, "Gravity Vacation" was a WAMA nominee for Best Children’s Music
